ArenaPlus Supports Golf Community Through Golden Tee Tournament
ArenaPlus continued its support of Philippine sports through its sponsorship of the 54th Golden Tee Tournament, held from February 10 to 14 at the Manila Golf and Country Club in Makati City.
One of the country’s longest-running golf competitions, the Golden Tee Tournament has become a staple event for members of the local golf community, drawing participants from both business and sporting circles.
For ArenaPlus, the partnership reflects its ongoing efforts to support a wider range of sports beyond basketball and volleyball.
“ArenaPlus is committed to contributing to the Philippine sports ecosystem in meaningful ways, from major leagues to community-driven events like the Golden Tee Tournament,” said ArenaPlus Head Erick Su.
“Supporting golf alongside other sports allows us to help create more opportunities for connection, engagement, and shared experiences among Filipino fans and athletes,” he added.
Beyond its role as a sponsor, ArenaPlus also introduced an interactive putting challenge that added a fun element to the tournament experience for players and guests.
Participants were invited to test both their putting skills and predictions by attempting to sink three golf balls while guessing whether they would finish with more or less than 1.5 successful putts. Those who made the correct prediction received exclusive ArenaPlus merchandise, including branded golf balls and stickers.
“The ArenaPlus sponsorship of the Golden Tee Tournament creates a mutually beneficial impact for both the event and the brand,” tournament organizers said.
“For the tournament, the partnership enhances its prestige and attracts strong participation while elevating its profile within corporate circles.”
“The sponsorship enhanced the level of competition, leading to strong participation from leading global corporate circles,” the organizers added as they emphasized ArenaPlus’ vital role as one of the platinum sponsors.
